We focus on choice and innovation in creating our beverages. We start making our beverages  by asking our consumers what flavors excite them. We then use this feedback to create beverages with these flavors. Through meticulous testing, feedback and product improvements – tasted over and over by the consumer – we create drinks that are enjoyable for when you need a break, to have fun or just to relax with friends and family.

Co-creation: making our products with thousands of consumers

When Komari was founded in 2017, the one core value we therefore decided on was co-creation: creating beverages by intensively involving consumers in the product development process.

We took to the streets to interview, survey and ask people in Addis Ababa as well as in the country what exited them. We invited people for rounds and rounds of testings: we let our consumers decide the entire product’s configuration.

We have exited and thankfully to have co-created Arada Hard Seltzer: the first home-grown Hard Seltzer, made for Ethiopians by Ethiopians. it’s not just our flavours: every aspect of our product and brand starting from the name ‘Arada’ to the label and packaging, has been developed closely with consumers.

Our commitment to co-creation doesn’t stop with our current products. We’re working on new ways to exicte and we are looking forward to include you in the process.
